Zanfel Review – Poison Ivy Treatment by Zanfel

Zanfel Review – Poison Ivy Treatment by Zanfel

It’s that time of the year, when trips to the woods and fields yield beautiful scenery, lasting memories, and all too often – poison ivy. If you’ve seen poison ivy rash pictures, they are not pretty.

In my younger years, I’d get poison ivy, and I’d have it for days and days, if not weeks in some cases. Until I found Zanfel – this is by far and away the best treatment I’ve found, and certainly the quickest, too. Zanfel is an exfoliating cream that you apply in the shower, or in the sink.

You scrub (see: itch) the affected area, for up to two (2) minutes, and then rinse. You are left with a refreshing feeling. In my experiences with Zanfel, a couple of treatments per day, and in less than 3-4 days max, my poison ivy is not noticeable.

I’m not sure why it works, I could care less why it works. BUT ZANFEL WORKS.

Poison ivy is a nasty animal – and I trust Zanfel, every time.  It is cashy. But my comfort is worth it – and since our family are outdoor freaks – we buy in bulk! Whenever I get the slightest idea that I may be getting poison ivy, I treat my poison ivy with Zanfel.

You can buy Zanfel at Walmart for around $35, for a one (1) ounce tube. This normally last me two (2) or three (3) applications.

This is not a sponsored ad, rather an honest zanfel review – and I wouldn’t recommend garbage to outdoor freaks, if you get poison ivy, get Zanfel!

Zanfel is absolutely Freak worthy! Keep that ivy poison away!

One Simple Rule For Catching More Chubs – Guest Post

Today we have a guest post from Owl Jones at http://www.owljones.com/ . He runs a pretty awesome fly fishing blog, seems like an all around good guy. We were talking on Twitter a couple of days ago about a funny blog title – and he came up with this one! So, he volunteered to write this guest blog – and I’m very thankful for that! Appreciate it, Owl.

Do YOU want to know the ONE SIMPLE RULE for catching more chubs? It’s an easy and inexpensive “fix” that can have you catching more (and BIGGER!) chubs in no time. And the added bonus - the real KICKER - is that this ONE SIMPLE RULE also applies to catching dace, shiners, minnows and the occasional crawdad. Plus, it’ll make your dancing skills really impress the ladies!

We’re going to tell you the secret of this ONE SIMPLE RULE in a moment. But for now, we’d like to introduce you to the person responsible for discovering the ONE SIMPLE RULE. Please give it up for Dr. Mucho Pescado:

Thank you everyone and it’s great to be blogging here to you about my ONE SIMPLE RULE concept. As you’ve probably already experienced in your personal trout fishing, it’s easy enough to catch chubs. Everyone catches a few chubs now and then, and even the worst fly anglers get lucky and hook a chub from time to time - even if it is in the tail. But with my revolutionary ONE SIMPLE RULE to catching MORE chubs – you’ll be catching them literally by the dozens in your very next trip out on the water. And not just catching them, learning to release them without damaging their fragile little bodies, too! For too long now, fly anglers have been tossing back chubs from knee to waist high, at speeds that would horrify anyMaster Chub Fisher. The poor little guys, once caught – are brutally punished for being chubs and we suspect - for taking dry flies right in front of sizable brown trout before the trout can get to them. But you CAN release CHUBS with THE PROPER METHODS that we teach when we give you the ONE SIMPLE RULE for catching MORE chubs. You won’t ever have to spend another 45 minutes to an hour trying to revive a stunned and quivering chub, while you’re buddies are already upstream, getting to all the unsuspecting chubs ahead of you! You’ll be READY to catch chubs like a PRO, andMORE CHUBS at that – with our ONE SIMPLE RULE plan. Did we mention you’ll catch MORE CHUBS? That’s right! You will! It’s a promise.***

So are you ready? Doesn’t it sound like our ONE SIMPLE RULE for catching MORE CHUBS is just the thing you need to land you on the cover of Chubs Weekly or Chub Angler? Doesn’t it only make sense that you’d rather catch MORE CHUBS than just to catch some chubs? Isn’t it about time you got the respect you deserve for your chub catching ability from friends and family? Can’t you just see yourself now with 10-20-100 chubs under your belt at the end of a good day’s fishing? Can’t you see yourself forgetting that we said we’d tell you the ONE SIMPLE RULE for catching MORE CHUBS by now? Isn’t this really about making sure you buy something from us when we promised it to you for free a few paragraphs back? Yes, SURE IT IS, but that’s ok because as soon as you know the SECRET for catching MORE CHUBS – the ONE SIMPLE RULE you’re dying to know, you’ll be on your way!

Ten Fuel-Saving Tips for Towing the Boat to the Lake – Press Release

I came across these great fuel saving tips earlier this morning, and thought that they would be good to post here. This short little article highlights Ten Fuel-Saving Tips for Towing the Boat to the Lake.
Three of the best ones, in my opinion:
Don’t use Cruise Control. The vehicle that is towing your boat cannot anticipate hills and valleys like the driver sees them. That said, using your foot instead of the Cruise Control saves both gas, and wear and tear on your engine!
Drain it: Never leave water in a live well or bait tank. At a little over eight pounds per gallon, carrying an extra 25 gallons of water in these built-in tanks can represent 10% of the boat’s total weight. Filled wakeboard boat ballast tanks or bags can also add significantly more weight – from several hundred to over 1,000 pounds of water. Emptying tanks also slows the spread of invasive species.
Slow down: A decrease in towing speed of just five or six miles-per-hour can lead to a noticeable decrease in fuel consumption. Trailer tires have a maximum speed of 65 mph, so going over that will not only harm MPG, but could damage tires as well.

Recreational Boating Fatalities at Record Low in 2010 – Press Release

Recreational Boating Fatalities were at a Record Low in 2010, and the U.S. Coast Guard is continuing to work diligently to get this number lower and lower every year. Remember Freaks – you HAVE to have a life jacket or some type of floatation device in the boat with you. Otherwise – you’re cooked! Also be aware that many places it is against the law to NOT have a floatation device in your watercraft.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Coast Guard released its official 2010 Recreational Boating Statistics today. Total fatalities fell to 672, the lowest number on record. Coast Guard officials, while heartened by the drop, were quick to caution that this number remains unacceptably high. They noted that the 2010 total is only slightly lower than the 676 deaths in 2004, the previous record low; but 26 deaths lower than the average number of fatalities for the last 10 years.

Total reported accidents were 4,604 in 2010, down from 4,730 in 2009, while injuries totaled 3,153, down from 3,358. Property damage was estimated at $35 million.

“We’re glad to see the numbers decline,” said Rear Admiral Kevin Cook, Director of Prevention Policy for the U. S. Coast Guard, “but the real tragedy is that so many of these deaths are needless and could have been prevented had boaters taken some simple steps. I am optimistic that the number of deaths and injuries can continue to be reduced further because of the strong commitment to safe boating from our partners in the States, non-government advocacy groups, and the boating industry.”

Operator inattention, improper lookout, operator inexperience, excessive speed, and alcohol use rank as the top five primary contributing factors in accidents. Alcohol use is the leading contributing factor in fatal boating accidents; it was listed as the leading factor in 19% of the deaths.

Rear Admiral Cook went on to emphasize the importance of boating education saying, “There is a clear link between safety and boating education. Statistics indicate that boaters who have taken a boating safety course are less likely to be involved in an accident. In addition, almost three-quarters of all fatal boating accident victims drowned; and of those, roughly 90 percent were not reported as wearing a life jacket. The Coast Guard urges all boaters, whether as operators or passengers, to take a boating safety course, avoid alcohol consumption, and to always wear their life jacket.”
